BIRD
TIME

Ladies
get lucky with Moss! |
With
Moss 94 the avid hunter could also find himself lying on his or
her belly while a flock of mixed ducks or geese feed nearby. You
may even be belly deep in flooded timber. What happens next is as
always "dictated" by the ducks. The Tradewater River and creek drainage's
feeding it create miles of huntable marsh within the Moss zone.
We utilize large lakes and strip pits in the area to increase your
chances. Upland bird and Turkey hunting are the new steps for Moss
94 with much of our management plan aimed at increasing quality
turkey numbers and strong flying pheasant numbers as well. Nothing
quite moves a hunter like the gobble of the turkey or highball from
an old hen mallard. Moss properties have high bird populations and
we've got the time to hunt them. Spring turkey hunts are available
by reservation and we only hunt four guns/week to keep our birds
fresh.
Waterfowl
hunts are what we love most at Moss and we aim to show you a good
time. Cold weather brings the best out in us and with a mile long
lake that never freezes you'll soon learn why. Moss properties are
often home to thousands of ducks and a resident Canada goose flock
is always good for action. Don't forget when in town to ask about
our "live" pigeon shoots, usually good enough to warm your
barrel. |

DEER
TIME

Mike
Benedict and a 215 lb. bruiser. |
Hunts
with a personal touch are our specialty at Moss 94 with all outings
personally guided and limited to no more than 15 hunters per camp.
Family hunts, business groups etc. Moss 94 will cater a hunt to
your liking. We have comfortable permanent stands, portables and
climbing stands to insure you have the best chance at bagging your
trophy deer. Ground blinds are often used with great success as
well. Food plots of corn, milo, soybean etc... are also scattered
through our properties to make those bucks feel right at home. Green
fields of wheat, clover and buckwheat will often hold upwards of
20 deer each evening. Parent Child hunts are some of our personal
favorites and when in deer camp ages often melt and all are viewed
as equals. During deertime, all outside influences tend to be lost,
leaving men/women in our natural not so harsh environment. Deertime
is magical, when branches become antlers and that cedar bush becomes
your buck.
